Matthew Lee Ming Loong

Matthew Lee Ming Loong is one of the partner of LGTW with a degree in LLB along with an MBA specialising in Financial Strategy and Company Strategy Management. Matthew has many years of experience in the acquisition and disposal of property portfolios, sale and pre-letting of development sites as well advice in relation to the real estate aspects of banking and corporate transactions.

He spends most of his time working with clients’ professional advisors such as accountants, private bankers, property search agents and offshore advisers, to ensure that clients’ property portfolio in Malaysia is protected and as tax efficient as it can be. In his line of work, Matthew has managed to secure sales and purchase up to RM11 million and became a finance and investment consultant for clients in Singapore, Penang, Hong Kong, Jakarta and Sarawak. Due to his extensive legal knowledge and skills, he also represents the panel lawyer for a professional broker company in Jakarta.

Teo Guan Seng, Lex

Lex, a graduate from Multimedia University Malacca with a degree in LLB (Hons), has been in active legal practice for more than six years in Malaysia since 30/11/2012. Currently a partner at Messrs LEE GAN TEO & WONG, he handles all general litigation work. His noteworthy cases include Land Acquisition Appeal by the state authority of Selangor at Shah Alam Sessions Court; (ii) commercial disputes of Matsuoka Projects (M) Sdn. Bhd.; and defence work against Tenaga Nasional Berhad for a civil suit claim of RM4 million.

With this comprehensive legal experience, Lex continues to be engaged as Legal/Corporate Adviser for corporate and society clients such as Ng Kee Cold Storage Sdn. Bhd. and J & M Solar Systems Sdn. Bhd. With strong academic and professional achievements, diligent legal practice, and commitment to society, Lex has earned a strong reputation in both professional practice and the community.

Carmen Wong Kah Mun

Carmen has obtained her LLB from Northumbria University, United Kingdom, and completed her CLP in the following year. Prior to joining LGTW, she has many years of experience practicing in different areas of law. She then joined LGTW as a partner on 1st April 2018. To date, she mainly focuses on Conveyancing, Corporate, Family, and Divorce matters.

She is well-versed in family and matrimonial dispute issues as well as asset arrangements in divorce and separation. She provides advice and support from divorce to financial settlement and children-related matters for privately funded clients.

Her past experience in the banking and finance sector enhances her ability to understand clients’ property financing needs as well as structuring banking and finance legal services. She has acted for a range of lenders (personal housing loans and SME loans) including CIMB Bank Berhad, Maybank Berhad, RHB Bank Berhad, Hong Leong Bank Berhad, Public Bank Berhad, OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad, United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, and Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad.

Besides that, she is also well-versed in corporate legal drafting, including licensing agreements, franchising agreements, corporate agreements, and memorandums of understanding for corporate clients. She is retained by several corporations as a legal advisor to provide legal solutions and ensure that corporate interests are protected at all times.
